Turbo and Coco were married in June of 2015 after 7 years of friendship and a first date that was definitely not a date! After many adventures, a baby, and some heartbreak Turbo realized he had a problem. Then Turbo admitted he had a problem and reached out for help. In May of 2020 during a pandemic Turbo realized he could not battle addiction alone so he entered an intensive outpatient program and joined a 12 step program. This was the start of his recovery journey and the beginning of a healthier and happier life.
Coco initially thought addiction would be the end of their marriage. There was heartbreak, broken trust, pain, and hurt feelings. Coco learned through supportive friends, support groups, and therapy that there is a path past addiction. This blog shares the recovery journey of Turbo, Coco, and their family. We hope by sharing our journey that we can help others who are struggling or need some support.
